The media has not been too hard on the McCain/Palin ticket. If anything, they've been too easy. McCain and Palin both refuse to answer questions they are asked, choosing instead to make hypocritical statements about the Obama/Piden ticket. The media should there and then insist on real answers to their questions (Brian Williams...you let them get away with it last night!) Obama and Biden have explained over and over whose taxes would increase....people who make over 250K!!!! I'm sure those people are fine with this, since they know they are able to afford this and it will help relieve some financial burdens their own loved ones who make less than 250K will face. Taxes are not ever going to go away...they are for the common good of all citizens. Those who make more than 250K know they are fortunate and should one day their income decreases, then so will their contribution to the common good. Has Sarah Palin asked 'Joe the Plumber' what he thinks of this clothing expense...since she reveres his opinion so much? America....do not let yourself get caught in the McCain/Palin web of deception, lies and absolute nonsense. The real breathe of fresh air in this election is that you have a chance to have an intelligent, fair, caring, honest and reasonable man in Obama who is willing to devote himself to improvement and hope for America. He is the one who will make a great President and unite the country with respect and consideration of the common good! Vote for Change! Vote intelligently....this is important!
I do not agree with your view of Obama at all and feel it is off center. If you watched or listened to the interview you would have heard Obama tell the gentleman that he would have received tax cuts in prior years so he could save the money for the business. He would have been taxed on anything over 250,000. Not the entire amount. People need to see the interview before they can truly comment. Also, I do believe in redistributing the wealth. If someone is making $500,000. they should pay more taxes than a family making $55,000. how can people not see that, is it because of greed? I think that if people open their minds and listen and read what Obama has to offer they make think differently. If for nothing else he is changing the African American hopes for tomorrow. I am not African American but a 4Th grader who is recently told me " Do you know who Obama is?" I said "Yes" he said" I'm going to study hard and go to Harvard like him". We need these types of role models for our children instead of the ordinary sports figures.
